The roving, Bronx-based chef collective Ghetto Gastro—known for hosting buzzy pop-up dinners with Martha Stewart and the late Virgil Abloh—has opened a brick-and-mortar restaurant on West Houston and Sullivan, in SoHo. It is called Gourmega, and it is in a shared space with food insecurity charity Rethink Food, to which the restaurant directs all of its profits. (Rethink was founded by Eleven Madison Park alum Matt Jozwiak, not without some past controversy. Daniel Humm has since joined Rethink as a co-founder.)
